SZUMIŁO, Mirosław. Bishop Pavol Hnilica at Oasis Movement Meeting in Poland in 1978

The published document is a written content of the audio recording, which resolved confiscation during a house search by the Security Service in the apartment of Ing. Mária Nechalová in Žilina. The tape recorded the meeting of Bishop Pavel Hnilica with young Slovaks in Krościenko in the Polish Pieniny in 1978, during the meeting of the Light-Life movement Oasis. It is a unique testimony on the contacts of Hnilica, who was active in the exile, with his compatriots in Poland, where he could still have come at that time. It shows indirectly the help of the Polish Church in maintaining contacts with the country by the Slovak church emigration.
