PaedDr. ThDr. Ondrej Krajňák, PhD.

Film and documentary director, since February 2013 chairman of the Board of the Nations Memory Institute. He obtained his PhD. in the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin in journalism. In the years 1997 – 2004 he has served as a film director and documentary and directed several TV programs broadcasted in the Slovak Television. Since 2004, he has served as a documentary director and later he headed Oral history department at Nations Memory Institute.

He created audiovisual archive of the Nation's Memory Institute. His documentaries are focused on the stories of the Totalitarian regimes victims in the Slovak history. In the time of communism, he was participated on the activities of the secret church. He is member of the Confederation of the Political Prisoners of Slovakia and also Council for the Science, Education and Culture of the Bishops Conference of Slovakia.
